Hi. I used that same relay card to replace the mechanical programmer of my old washing machine. Worked fine for a while but the relay controlling the motor finally gave up the magic smoke.
I replaced it and rather than connecting it to the motor again I connected it to a Legrand heavy duty relay who does the heavy lift. A bit clicky but functional.
So you can use those cheap relay cards to control more powerful devices if you interface them with the adequate good quality relay. All the other parts of the washing machine (solenoids, pumps, lights, latch) are controlled directly by the relay card without an issue.

Hello, I am using the sainsmart relay board. I am triggering a 24v pinball flipper solenoid. After a while the relays start to peter out. I hear a click the lead lights up but the 24V circuit does not complete. What can be causing the issue. Is 24V DC too much load for the relay to handle? I experienced this on a couple of boards. Any help would be appreciated!! Thanks

Can the Sain smart 16 channel relay board be used without WiFi connections, just want to trigger LED lights from a separate control board?

Cool setup, what are you going to do with it? Going to program it for something?

I can't find the device/network after I flash it. It says the flash was successful, but I can't find the device network. Any ideas?
