Pinback - 'Non-photo Blue' (acoustic cover)

Hey guys! Been a while since I've covered anything, I know. I was just in the mood to do a song with some energy today so I figured I'd give this one a try. I love Pinback but have barely done any Pinback covers. Hope you like this one, and if you've never listened to Pinback definitely check them out! I will try and do a better quality version of this sometime soon, so keep an eye out =) This was just recorded with my camera mic. Oh, and I played it a bit differently than the original and left out a couple parts to shorten it up a bit.

It can't be unauthentic because that's just how it came out when I first tried singing it. I always try to sound a little bit like the original to pay respect to the creator. My voice is versatile like that, so why would I limit myself to singing just one way? Whether or not I'm trying to imitate on some level, it is still my voice making the sound. Thanks though

You nailed this man, seriously. Favorite cover so far. It's wonderful how many different vocal melody's Pinback uses over the same repeating chord structures, making it seem like a whole new section. Zach's parts always go so high, you got those perfect too.

Thanks! Barnes is actually one of my favorite Pinback songs. Tried to learn it once with a band but it was pretty difficult. Maybe I'll revisit it sometime.

Another great cover, though your vocals seem a bit unauthentic. Fuck trying to sound like a singer, that's not what good music is about. Impressive voice and all but it just does not sound authentic, it sounds too rehearsed.
