Had no clue who Jerry Lawler was until he was a commentator in the WWE. Him and Jim Ross are arguably the best play-by-play color commentary team in history of wrestling, but it's nice to hear his story for those of us who didn't grow up in witness his era

I had no idea Jerry Lawler was a wrestler as a kid. I just assumed that he was a comedic commentator. But soon, I learned that he was indeed a wrestler as I watched clips from his feud with Andy Kaufman from the 1970s. Time passes later & he holds a place in my heart as one of the greatest of all time.

I've known him as the commentator first as i started to watch wrestling only from the attitude era. So i have barely seen matches of him but i remember one match where he hit some big guy with brass knuckles or something. It was one of the hilarious matches i have seen. I always liked him, certainly the best commentator and i could accept that he played a great heel in his wrestling days.

Jerry The King Lawler was a funniest commentator I've ever seen in WWE, he made me laugh so hard back in the day. That's why I liked him as a commentator. He was also one of best heels in WWE history besides MDM Ted DiBiase, JBL, Baron Corbin, and The Miz. Hail to the king!
