What a lot of fisherman don’t realize is that fish are way faster than you think. Most fisherman fish too slow. if you fish too slow, it gives the fish time to follow your lure and give it a good look. You don’t want that. You want the lure to be going fast enough that the fish has to make a quick decision eat it or let it go.
