The DBS is a legendary nameplate in Aston Martin’s history books. Deployed since the late 1960s, the Aston Martin DBS has been the flag bearer as the brand’s flagship luxury grand touring vehicle, and the latest one, the DBS Superleggera, is no different. The new Aston Martin DBS Superleggera has been around since 2018 yet it still looks fresh as yesterday. The wide gaping grille flanked by slim elegant headlights and swan doors screams typical Aston Martin. The DBS is stunning from any angle you fancy and yet it hides another beautiful piece of machinery beneath the bonnet too. The party piece of the Aston Martin DBS is a 5.2-litre twin-turbocharged V12 engine that puts out 715hp and 900Nm torques and the exhaust note certainly sounds like a party for any car enthusiast. The cabin is loaded with intricately stitched premium leather and the dashboard layout is lifted straight from the DB11. The infotainment system is also an older unit borrowed from Mercedes Benz but Aston Martin claims to have embedded enough creature comforts that may compensate for the infotainment unit. Though Aston Martins are best experienced when looked at or get driven and the former is certainly a box ticked.
