My cluch was too tight, shifting was hard and imprecise, after this video I loosened it a bit and it's a totally different bike, much smoother now thank you

Thank you for this, I was having a hard time figuring out what was wrong with my clutch because it was so loose. And I also subbed 👍🏼

Well explained apart from clickwise and anticlockwise when sitting on the bike.. its turned 90° from you at that point and could confuse some people. Turning the top of the 'screw' toward the bike would be tighten, away would be loosen

This is no joke. Had to of clutch slip, False gear engagement (especially in and out of Neutral), definitely noticed some serious wear from my magnetic drain plug and oil change I did recently. Definitely won't be doing that again.

However, I do need to find a way to adjust the lever to where I want, stock adjustment specification is super weird and heavy, making it awkward for mm to have the brake lever the same tension as the clutch lever, im also pretty heavy handed (might have to do because of my occupation lol), I still have stock OEM parts/Levers on my '03 R6, cable hasn't been lubed yet.

So definitely something I want to try and work on today. _might mess around and buy aftermarket Levers as a gift to myself this weekend, it's time for one more little gift to the bike before the season really starts to cool down a bit)

So if you can't shift into 1st, or 5th - 6th gear, and the spline is good ( has a bolt in it ), would you say that the clutch is probably too loose?

What if I have to have it all the way loose to have that free play? It’s a brand new bike
