I'm glad this video came out. In the Black community, most Black people view communication degrees as being stupid and a waste of time. I am tired of the ridicule and scoffing. This video helps.

Turning 30 this year but never finished my undergraduate degree. I am passionate about foreign language (I've learned 4, and speak 2 fluently). I want to create online videos and programs for people who want to learn English as a second language, and found your video after researching degrees that might help me accomplish that goal. Thank you for the great info!

I would highly suggest anybody going for a communications degree: make sure you complete internships for whatever field you want to work in. It is quite hard finding a job with a communications degree and no experience in the field you want to work in. They usually go for someone that has a specialized degree for the job or experience. Speaking from experience.

I am graduating from COMNs this year and have an ambivalent outlook on my potential career but this video helped me assuage some of those fears a little bit, thanks.

I majored in "Communication & Conflict" and I feel I wasted 4 years grinding for it. Majority of interesting jobs in my opinion is "writer jobs", "Social Media jobs", or other various real estate jobs + HR. I hear its a great degree all the time but so far no luck with finding my short term career.

I'm in between choosing English or Communications as my major. English was my first yet hearing something like this has my head spinning again. It takes 1 thing to change my mind completely. 😵

Looking to do communications as a major for the military as radio comms whilst defending checkpoints as a U.S Army soldier with my fellow soldiers in arms and if I'm inactive then I'll either work part time at IT&E, T-Mobil, and/or make my own telecommunication company. Thank you very much for the content and look forward to more

I'm getting my second degree in communications because it was recommended by my college counselor. I'm trying to make the best of my time while I am on dialysis by going back to school but I feel like I am wasting my time majoring in communications. I've never met a single successful person who was a communications major so that's what worries me

At my university the major is called “Communication Studies”. I wonder if that’s true elsewhere

This reminds when I was in a technical high school and all the shop teachers had a sales pitch. Craziest was the graphic teacher telling us that the people that print the money is graphic designers like that was our next step. 😂

It was inspiring at 13 but it would have been better to talk about students careers after they graduated.
