The United States has come to the conclusion that a “quick deal” with Russia in order to stop the war in Ukraine is not likely. The US is preparing tough measures against Russia, including tariffs on oil and gas. The US also threatens 500% tariffs on all goods imported from countries which continue to buy Russian oil and gas. Germany is preparing to deploy a 5000 strong brigade in Lithuania.
