_i get really nervous around furries. i saw a group of them fursuiting in a mall once and one asked me for a hug, and i did because they seemed okay. im sure a good lot of them are nice people, but they give me an odd vibe._

I don't really care that much. It's basically just cosplaying. When people wear their fur suits in public it is pretty weird and a little creepy. But other than that, people can do what they want, as long as they are not harming others.

Just saying, not all the people in this are showing off a fetish. That's like, maybe 5 percent of the community. People can cosplay scantily clad anime girls but when it's a character they made themselves that happens to be fluffy it's suddenly disgusting? Not saying these aren't cringe. But let people enjoy what they want, considering most do this simply as a hobby.
