In Korea if you watch a video with age restrictions you have to prove your legal age or you cannot watch it (being logged in with an official YouTube account linked to your legal age prevents you from having to do so repeatedly). In fact, many foreign visitors to Korea have a hard time to prove their age, since you need official Korean ID and a phone linked to that ID to do so, so short termers in Korea (without a VPN) might not be able to watch their fave videos (even if they are actually 40 years old).
