Anti-twist for Skagit Mono Running Line

This is to prevent mono running lines from twisting when using double handed rods or even single handed spey style casting rods.
I just hope this size 10 swivel will be strong enough for bigger fish.

Materials:
Barrel swivel - size 10
Braided monofilament - 30lbs
Splicing needle
Whipping thread
Glue / UV resin

Method:
1. Thread one end of the braided mono through the swivel eye
2. Use a splicing needle to form a loop encasing the swivel. You may choose to double splice as I have for security & prevent slippage.
3. Whip finish the spliced end(s) & glue.
4. Form another loop with the other tag end of the braid (as in steps 2 - 3)
5. Repeat steps 1 - 3 for the other end of the swivel eye.

For my "lighter" 3 wt single hand rod, I felt that a one sided swivel was sufficient as the mono running line was thin enough to pass through the eye of the swivel. Let's see how this goes.
