I personally LOVE how this movie ends. The restaurant still got closed down, which is the most realistic thing of any movie Pixar’s ever put out. But instead of them giving up, they keep going and start their own restaurant. Damn. That’s how you send a message.

In my humble opinion, Ratatouille was one of Pixar's most creative films. It was a story that wasn't like ANYTHING in the market at that point, and it had a lot of great messages: follow your dreams, don't bite the hand that feeds you, don't judge a book by its cover, do what you want instead of what your family wants you to do, take every opportunity to learn, ect. I'm very curious as to your opinions though. Thoughts?

"No food companies wanted to be associated with rats."

And yet Disney never had that trouble marketing Mouse in my Spaghetti O's and Sargento Cheese.

Ratatouille is my personal favorite movie. I remember watching it when I was younger and I just loved it I remember going to a Mall and there was a Disney section I went there on my birthday and got a bunch of ratatouille toys. The Disney/Pixar section is now gone. Even though I'm in my mid teens I still love the movie.

Do you guys remember how in monsters inc. the first time there was a sock on one of the scarers and they shut the floor down, the boss said "a scare floor out of commission." This seemed to me that he was implying that the floor Sully and Mike worked on wasn't the only one. Just wanted to see what you guys thought.

My ratatouille theory : Remy and Emile's mother was also a cook. She worked with Gusteau. That's the rat hair the guy found in Gusteau's hat. Django (Their father) Doesn't want Remy to follow in his mothers footsteps as she was killed after Gusteau died? was killed in the kitchen.? Well somehow she died. Django has to raise the kids by himself and also has to look after the clan. Django is scared so he shows Remy what rats " turn into if they're caught" . The mother is never mentioned in the movie, so maybe she upsets Django as whenever cooking is mentioned he gets angry and upset. Just my theory but.. Okayyy xD
