I grew up in McKees Rocks bottoms. My cousin and I used to go up there and dig for arrowheads. Unfortunately, that site has been abused and desecrated for generations. If only I knew then what I know now. Love your work. Thank you

I love how the museum points to compliance with federal regulations as the basis to keep the skeletons in their closets. They find justification in laws enacted after they took possession, in my opinion, of grave robbery which in essence was facilitated after, again my opinion, the illegal eviction and theft of native land. Fact though, I would be incredibly irate if someone went over took possession of the cemetary my family was buried in, disturbed their graves, began showing their burial possessions as artifacts, and after displaying their skeletons for the world to see, placing them cardboard boxes in long term storage.

My dad, born in 1954, used to find Indian arrow heads there with his friends and older brother.

Carnegie's compliance is nothing more than social complacence. A comfort of convenience, afforded by the lack of accountability that is obscured by the veil of a mental construct known as a museum.

Graham Hancock is soon coming out with a new book covering his recent research into sites like this in America. I wonder if he investigated this site? I highly recommend his books "Fingerprints of the Gods" and "Magicians of the Gods" which deal with proof of ancient civilizations. I can't wait for the new book.

I am torn between wanting to know about our ancestors and their way of life and a gut feeling that we really need to respect their beliefs and not disturb them. Thank you. XX

Another fascinating video, thank you so much for bring it to our attention. As you say, as of now these sites are not "impressive" - but, one has to wonder about the mind set that reduced these Historical Monuments to their present dereliction/or fenced off "no go zones". As a subject I've followed for a while, I'm delighted to see anything about it out in 'public'. Being based in UK and having started my research based in old books, (now, lost in many moves) that were originally my great grandparents and grandparents. Your use of the Internet Maps service has been an eye opener. That the sites you're referenceing here are in Pennsylvania - right next door to Ohio - and with awareness of mounds in multiple other sites and States, I think it's safe to state/say that the Mound Culture is really quite wide spread and it's is strange that there has still NOT been a retrospective, ALL inclusive exhibition, either based at one( or travelling around all of the major) museum(s ) of North America. The provenance of who these "hidden bodies" actually were and to whom they really belong is a VERY CONTENTIOUS ISSUE. in New Zealand, where there is now hard evidence for a pre Maori - indigenous culture - though you'd be hard pressed to find it, there is the same problem, those who control/own the bones, own have rights to the land. No wonder no indigenous people want the bones examined, BUT, definitely wish them reburied ON site. IF it were ever suggested or proven that there were a pre "indigenous American" People, living.... before being wiped out ....by the present "indigenous Peoples", WELL it is a tricky subject to even write about, theoretically in a comment section. But, if true archeology is to be done on these ancient sites and bones/bodies and an actual "true" date and attribution of whom and when the mounds -the ones we can still see; were built and the practices learned...well, it's with, Great respect to the present "indigenous people", who were treated SO appallingly, we have to ask them for permission to DNA test ALL bodies held in Museums, possibly as part of a reburial process - that we might finally start to get some real truths (and dates) about the actual REAL History of what is now know as North America and who were the people, who even turn up and inconvenience myth and legend, by being Giants or of red hair/pale skin/blue eyes...the same "inconvenient people" with whom the Maori Elders are dealing, who's bodies are found in the deserts of China and the Steppes of Russia, as well as the obliterated burial sites of North America. What you are doing, good Sir, by asking questions and bringing this contentious subject into the public consciousness is the end game of a conclusion that would appear to have been reached a while back and the answer, then...without the knowledge of the inconvenience of the Internet, was to hide, obliterate and destroy. Is it not going to take a quantum change in mind set from all sides to finally reveal the Truth?! I found a fascinating set of photographs and some amazing information about the numbers of mound - 700 - of Ohio on a rather sensationist channel, it's name and agenda ( words/descriptions with which necessarily agree) does not detract from the awesome photos of these incredible monds, as it's about Ohio and one of the photos is of "as large burial mound that can be seen off the road while going from the Seipp Mound to Fort Hill" - that I will put the information under your excellent video on Seipp Mound, as it's about Ohio. May I thank you again, for this awesome offering and wish everyone a very good day.
