I can’t remember the last time I ate only three slices of bacon. Was probably the last time I ate breakfast in a traditional restaurant.

I was always taught that companies add what they call “fillers” of tendon, ground bone, etc from an animal to my meats were a cheap way to sell a product. I always thought that was gross. Thanks to you Dr Berry, I now realize what a blessing this is to my health! All that collagen and amino acids, etc added to my meat of choice! Now it’s not so bad. Pass me another plate! 😋🍽️

Sausage with tendon, skin, and organs is not only not worse, but healthier for you.

Plenty of stidies and known mechanisms showing increased glycine improving metabolic health, and you find more glycine in those tissues, plus they are nutrient dense.

Just last week I made four packs of thick sliced bacon and basically keep it. In my fridge to snack on whenever or to add it to food. I also strained the bacon grease for future cooking. I recommend trying non-smoked bacon if you can find it. The taste is less adulterated by the smoking process and in essence, much more wholesome and healthy

Favorite breakfast meats are: (1) Tender Belly brand uncredited bacon with no antibiotics; no sugar; no nitrates or nitrites added and no water added. The only things I don't like about it is the slices, or rashes, are not as uniformly cut & shaped as your regular store bought bacon, making for rashes that are mostly fat or mostly meat, or skinnier or longer. Also no 'easy open' packaging. You gotta apply a pair of kitchen shears vigorously to the vacuumed packaging to get them open, and put the bacon in large ziploc bags to keep in the remainder in the frig. I also love Teton 100% grass-fed cooked, uncured Polish Sausage, also with no nitrates or nitrites. I usually can finish-off a 15-weiner package in two days, if I'm not careful. Eat it right out of the package as snacks. Lastly, I'll fry up a patty of 100% grass-fed beef Kirkland brand patties occasionally in the bacon fat from the Tasty Belly bacon. I get all these at Costco, though I have seen the first two, in smaller amounts & packaging, at Sprouts, Whole Foods and Natural Grocers.❤

This is an outstanding video! He reminds us that ground up organ meat is great for us. Bring on the tendons, liver, hooves, etc. 🎉

Ya, I just can't afford the clean bacon and sausage. So I rarely eat sausage, but I eat bacon daily. I feel like its my only option at this time.

I have been having (2) 1/4lb burgers and 2 eggs for I went back to bacon and eggs 1 day, it takes a whole bunch of bacon to equal 2 burgers. And the bacon taste good but it just wasn't the same as burger and eggs

Our ancestors ate scrap and organ meats…we need the collagen, and minerals.

I eat a couple slices of bacon a day usually. I save it for the end as dessert. 😅

I like the Kiolbassa brand they sell at HEB in Texas. I usually go with jalapeno beef but the garlic variety is delicious as well.
