Josh Keaton just brings this certain charm to Spidey that resonates more with me than Drake Bell. And because of that Keaton will always be to Spider-Man as Kevin Conroy is to Batman.

90s Spiderman had the biggest change in tone in the franchise.
Like, before that, all the series were chessy and ligthearted, then TAS comes and you have death, mutations, dramatic backstories, full narrative arcs, and even a little horror.
From there on, every Spidey cartoon had a more serious tone.
