Welcome back to the wetter bass!

My quick evaluation of the Moonshine V2:

+ THE GOOD
. classic tube screamer slight mid bump drive sound for bass
. more or less gain mini switch
. blend does help add some transients (note attack) and low end from the dry signal
. general sound quality and responsiveness

- THE BAD
. changes the phase when used in parallel
. saturation texture is typical thick TS style, but yet is great for cutting through a mix
. sometimes a tad aggressive in the high mids

Enjoy the video! Also, it would be wonderful if you could LIKE and SUBSCRIBE! ❤️

Signal chain:
. Epiphone Short Scale, Fender Jazz bass and van Loo 5 string
. Peterson Tuner
. Audient iD 24 audio interface
. Insert Loop: Lehle Basswitch clean boost, Sine Effects H24 HPF, Becos Twain compressor
. Loops reamped using the Audified GK Amplification 3 Pro plugin

Really great pedal for bass. Excels at low gain stuff. First overdrive I ever bought. ❤

Originally, it was the JHS Low Drive, which ironically enough, bassists didn't buy much. Guitarists loved it, so it was rebranded as the Moonshine, and later updated with a clean blend to still appeal to the bass market. It's a great sounding overdrive!

Yeah it’s a decent tube screamer with a blend.
