this may sound silly but life hack that works for me in a pinch, to make grilled cheese, spray the bread with butter, toast it like you would toast, take it out put your cheese in the middle and pop it in the microwave for like 10 to 15 seconds, not long bc itll make the bread soggy but just long enough to melt the cheese, its quicker to me bc you dont have to stand there watching it while you toast it. love you as always!

I love you Viv! I always laugh to myself when I watch your videos. My grandma who was my best friend LOVED a good infomercial. She ordered everything she could from as seen on tv, qvc, hsn, EVERYTHING! So it doesn’t surprise me that you are my fav. When my grandma moved, we had a huge house sale. I've used toaster bags for years and love them. My husband puts his grilled cheese in the microwave for 35 seconds to premelt the cheese, before putting it in the toaster bag and into the toaster. We also do not use any butter and they turn out great still.

Hi Vivian, I use them even just for cooking my toast in the morning and you don't any crumbs in the toaster. So need for cleaning or emptying the crumb tray.

I've had my toaster bags for about 10 years now and they work really well. Mine are from a different manufacturer, but a probably essentially the same thing, and they work really well. I think they are made of silicon.

I wonder if setting the a toaster to a lower browning/toasting setting would grill it slower thus eliminating it from getting too dark while also allowing the cheese to fully melt? I'm surprised at how well it did to be honest though.

Love your videos! I tried this but did not have results as good as yours. The problem is that the bread is too big for the bag. Just regular white bread, nothing fancy, but the top part is sticking up. I put the bread in the bag sideways because it wouldn't fit the other way, then I put it in the toaster. The rest of the sandwich toasted nicely and the cheese melted but the top was not cooked.

I have a grill cheese sandwich hack! toast two slices of bread, have the cheese ready, when bread pops out put cheeses in bread, put it into microwave oven for 20 seconds to get the cheese melted! Yum
