Using ODM on mushroom gorge isn’t a strategy that came out of nowhere, here is the original realization of the strategy created by @EjayB made over a year ago:

And the optimized run created by @Alego11-TAS about a month ago:

Slight correction on superhopping/external velocity:

the increase in external velocity actually comes from spin drifting, and ODM's velocity comes from leaning the opposite direction after releasing a drift (per CampbellMop)

Info for new players/those who aren't familiar with terminology:

RTA = real time attack, term used for non-tool assisted runs

TF input = "toad's factory input," it's used to get more air by flicking the stick the opposite way of your drift before going airborne, it's used to get more air over big gaps

Hey. Glad to see some channels making informative videos on outside-drift bike momentum (ODM), but I think you should have spent some time talking about how ODM strats were found and the history of the strats on MG, instead of just jumping instantly from superhopping to flam's WR. There were some cool route changes that were made while ODM strats were being developed 2 years ago, and mentioning those would have been nice.

I highly suggest you add these to the description so that people don't think this tech just eventuated out of thin air from superhopping!
