This is beyond my level of patience. Or maybe you just go so fast, I just can’t process it!! Not an experienced quilter. I usually prefer more organic “patterns” . You’re amazing.

Wow the mental effort it would take me to work out all that pressing, oh my gosh you've done us directionally challenged folks a great service!

I'm going to dip into my drawers full of 2.5" strips for this one, not sure what colors yet. I LOVE HOW THOROUGH this video is, with tips at every step. And that as always you are concise and to the point. I never have to speed up your videos, as I sometimes do for the chattier ones.

Thank you Karen! I love a new take on using potato chip blocks. Over the past year or so I had 45, 12 inch blocks. I started sewing them into quilt tops this winter. I do 3 by 4, add 2.5 inch borders top and bottom. Quilt guild likes them 40 by 60. Several others do the quilting. I help with the binding. I also made scrappy log cabin blocks to use up "strings". Then on a couple quilt tops, I alternated those 12 inch blocks with the potato chip blocks! Sewing helps me for being stressed out. No matter what is happening. I apologize to all my quilter friends in Canada! We love you! 🇨🇦! Take care. Marion in Oregon.

The washi tape ledge on the bottom of the ruler is genius!

Great and beautiful colors. Great tutorial! Thank you Karen. Keep it up with more tutorials. You keep my sewing jo going. You and Donna Jordan of Jordan Fabrics were my top videos. With Donna's passing, you'll be my top one.

Thank you Karen. I will send this video to my whatsapp to save it.I am going to make a baby blanket for my granddaughter. I like your bright colors but in the Netherlands they like more the neutral colors. But once I will make it in bright colors. I love it.

Thank you Karen! As quilters we are so lucky to have you in our corner. I really appreciate and learn so much from your videos. Love this stash buster. I have only been quilting for 5 years and I am already getting quite a big stash so I really need to do make more scrappy quilts. This pattern will be perfect for that. Thanks again ❤

Wow, you’ve done a lot of hard work on this pattern. Very pretty! What I like about potato chip blocks is that I *don’t* have to carry a mental load about order or direction, can just make a lot of progress in a short time of “flow”.

Ooh I really want to see/make it in a scrappy version! Maybe keep all the lights a plain white so the scrappy is a little easier!

This quilt is sooo happy and bright! Absolutely gorgeous! I don't have the solids for this, I get too smitten with graphic/illustrative prints when using up the fabric budget! But this is so lovely to look at! Super impressive! Like an optical illusion! I would love to see other color variations of any of the stashbusters, I could watch these tutorials all day! Comforting and you have such good advice for construction and for thinking about color! 💖💖
