Here's something I didn't learn about Betty White until after she passed away, but bears repeating: in the 1950s, she got to host her own show, The Betty White Show. One of her regular guests was a tap-dancer, Arthur Duncan, a black man. This was during the Jim Crow era, and Southern NBC affiliates were going to refuse to air the show if White didn't fire Duncan. Betty White not only refused to fire him, stating, "He stays. Live with it, " but actually gave him more airtime as a result of the controversy. Unfortunately, NBC would end up canceling the show as a result, but it's inspiring to hear that White was willing to jeopardize her career for this.

The best thing about this rap is that it makes sense than just the the spanish rap with random rhyming words. Meaning Troy and Abed actually learned from their class with Betty white. Such a great show.

The cool thing about Community's setup was endless opportunities for celebrities to make cameos as professors or students. I wish more celebs had stopped by to teach a Greendale class because this clips are still being watched well over a decade and change later.
