Erik ten Hag SACKED as Manchester United boss

Manchester United have sacked Erik ten Hag after two and a half years in charge following the club's 2-1 defeat to West Ham.

The defeat to West Ham left United 14th in the Premier League table with just three wins from nine matches.

Ruud van Nistelrooy will take over as United interim manager while they begin searching for a permanent replacement.

Im a Utd fan, born locally and they are NOT a “big club” anymore. You earn that through success. You cant base it on fan numbers or shirts sold. It goes in cycles with clubs, years of building squads. Managers were given more time decades ago before all the PL teams were sold down the river to the highest bidder. Sir Alex took over six years before he won the title with Utd. People forget that. Wake up and drop the arrogance. It’s like the fans think they have some kind of right to be challenging for the title. Why ? Because they did a long time ago ? So were a lot of other clubs which are at the lower end of the PL or now in the Championship.
