Should gyms allow cameras? Only their own. I would suggest gyms offer a couple devices on tripods, preferably in bright, obvious colors, controlled by employees, to film workout segments for patrons. Since the gym is in control of the device, they can select what and who is recorded, avoiding people restricting access to walkways and equipment, avoiding other people being in the shots and monitoring the environment for improper actions. When completed, the video can be sent to the patron and, with one of the many automatic filters, there is the potential of other patrons being automatically blurred out. This seems like the best of both worlds, speeding up the process and helping the gym maintain a safer and more comfortable environment for all users.

I think more men should complain and threaten to quit a gym after reporting an attention 304 to the gym staff. Stop tolerating it guys!

My gym, a large regional chain in the US, strictly prohibits filming and has signs posted to that effect. They have revoked memberships for violating the policy and one woman was prosecuted for filming another in the locker room who was partially clothed

Make a Karen friendly room off to the side of the main gym and allow cameras there but ban them in the main area with a strict policy of instant membership cancellation if caught there.

If the legit good women want to get back to a friendly environment where they can meet good men in a gym they will be on board too
