The hardest thing to watch was how Jesse finally got something going for him and then got beat down in a constant cycle until he ended up as a prisoner of Todd

Jesse was one of the most tragic characters in the show. When Todd killed Andrea man that scene haunts me

What I find interesting is that the Cartel meth lab really shows how Jesse changed because originally he was cooking flavored meth in some improvised kitchen and then he transitions to a more capable kitchen with the RV and then Gus, and ends up going to the Cartel like Gordon Ramsey kinda showing how he's picked up the "perfectionism" of Walter

Jesse is the perfect example of what the streets do to good people. He was never a “bad” person. He was just unfailingly loyal, and the streets paid him back for that with pain, suffering, heartbreak, and cash.

Should have added a little bit of el camino, it showed how truly tough Jesse became

Jesse's development in the series remains the best of almost all fiction for me. His smile and his good humor that we notice at the beginning of the series compared to the end of the series where we see all his suffering in one look...Breaking bad is a masterclass.

The worst part to me is his parents kicking him out over a joint that wasn't his, when he seemed like he was legitimately going to fly the straight and narrow and try and rebuild his relationship with the family. After that the dominos just kept on tumbling.

Jesse is the perfect example of a good heart, just made some wrong choices

Jesse always had heart and that’s one thing I loved most about his character. No matter what he went through, his heart was always open and filled with love and empathy for people. He was just a lonely dude. He cared so much and Walter I think sometimes saw that as weakness when in reality it’s the hardest thing to do. When life beats you down it’s super easy to become cold and guarded but Jesse not only remained himself but grew so much throughout the show as a person and that’s great writing/character development. I’m really happy we got to have El Camino as closure too.

Jesses parents suck. They couldn’t care less about Jesse and the way they treated him made him feel like he was worthless. That trauma carried over into his adult years eventually bringing him into that life of crime. And they had the gaul to ask him why he was like that.

Jesses mom - “Why are you like this?” Vs Walter - “why are you blue?” Obviously Walter cares more about Jesses mental health

Edit 1 year later: It's insane how many peoples heads this joke went over

Jesse’s character development is by far one of the best aspects of the show

I know it’s pretty obvious but the difference between S5 Jesse and S1 is insane but pretty sad at the same time :/

Walt was always a bad person pretending to be good, while Jesse was always a good person pretending to be bad.

The ending was amazing. It makes me cry as well. The way Walter avenges everyone and dies, man. What a show! I wish he didn’t die and got a good ending.
