Zhezhi Companion Story 1 | True Colors (Wuthering Waves)

What does it really mean to create? Will this artist find the courage to confront her past mistakes as she gets caught up again in past accusations? Will she be able to reconnect with her emotions and talents, and continue to breathe new life into her paintings?

I just watched Zhezhi's Resonator showcase, and I'm so dumb for not watching it earlier. I think her trailer is the best out of every characters I played with the exception of Encore, partly because the music in her trailer was better, and more iconic to recall. And the sound design had improved as well, it is still a bit loud, but thanks to the dialogue scene in the beginning, and the serene choice of soundtrack they've used, Zhezhi's showcase was pretty well done. Sometimes putting a bombastic scene to sell a character to your audience won't always work, and Zhezhi's trailer is proof of that. But then again, considering she is an artist, it just fits really well for this one.

I bet artists who played Zhezhi's companion quest can relate to a certain extent with her quest. I'm not one, but even I could sympathize from a certain standpoint on the difficulties of trying to make a living for your passion that uses artistic creativity. Commissions must be quite the ordeal, and yet it is necessary in order to make it work, and that's not even mentioning the competition of its market.

I'm glad they didn't made her into a one dimensional with her being a shy introverted character. As shown in this quest, she's more than capable of standing up for herself and can quite firm, and she just needed a little push. Turns out, you just needed to get to know her better, and earn her trust to know that other side of hers.

Still I'm quite surprised by her upbringing. So her parents just left her, after their family business fell apart? They just left their child who just wanted to cultivate her artistic talent with hard work, instead of overly relying on her forte. That's horrible, I'm surprised Zhezhi turned out to be such a good egg, as I'm assuming she was pretty young, when this happened. I'm impressed that she was insightful at such a young age, as she knew that her parents' exploitation was wrong.

All things considered, they did a good job with her character. Unfortunately, I just pulled for and built Changli and Encore (even though I already have Mortefi and Chixia lmao), so I have no damn resources, and I am saving for Camellya. Regardless, this was a good quest, and I was having entertained by a lot of things by this quest.

P.S. Miss Juyao is hot.
