I absolutely love your videos. I am very impressed of how well trained Jasmine was when I was seeing your videos. I have subscribe to your videos because I love them so much I am somebody who has autism spectrum disorder and ADHD. It’s sad because I am currently unemployed but the reason why is because I’m having a hard time finding a job that’s right for me And my disability I live with my parents still I can’t afford a service dog It’s really unfortunate because I’ve been researching and researching and I’ve been watching so many videos. I’ve been learning so much It sucks but I’m gonna keep researching and learning and one day I’m hoping that will happen anyways I have learned a lot from watching videos, including yours

I’ve always been so scared of not having a longer leash when I need it. I keep a 6ft leash in the car just in case. It’s a typical Amazon “service dog” leash in lime green, but it works

I’ve had to use the no leash lanyard trick so many times

Nice job making a makeshift leash with the clicker and traffic lead. My dog is able to work off leash because sometimes with my disability I need both hands free for certain things and some of her tasks are easer for her to do without my holding the leash. But it’s not something we practice that often and usually I leave her leash on even when I’m not using it. The other day though I forgot to bring it with me when I went to the store and only had her harness that she uses for Guide tasks. I was going to not bring her in with me because it was gonna be a short trip but then I thought let’s try it I had her clicker and her treats and it would somewhere we’ve been before so I figured I would see what happened and she really did better than I thought she would do honestly she didn’t even seem to notice that the leash wasn’t on lol.

My girl has just started to offer eye contact (without me asking) when we are doing PA training. How would you suggest I build more food drive in her? She isnt very food motivated (outside of the home and on walks), but she does great when we are in public (listens and stays close). Id love for her to be taking food while we are training more.
