Hi, I've subscribed to Rayner Teo and watched his videos from time to time. I even bought his book on price action. He may have mentioned indicators but doesn't force people to use them. He's also interviewed professional traders we can learn from. So, no, I don't think he's a scam.

Rayner Teo is a good trader and he helps a lot of Next you are going to say Jesse Livermore was a fraud. He started off as a serious scalper and a quite profitable one. A famous and very profitable trader told me about 8 years ago that I could never successfully day trade and like him you are so wrong. Why would you tell people this stuff? People can day trade hour trade min trade you can't just say that you can't, but please quit spreading this kind of misinformation

I have seen many of his videos and he talks about technical analysis, very much an explanation of textbook stuff in a video. None of his videos that I watched on youtube has he suggested buy or selling any particular share/ stock.
He explains the mathematics of the various indicators... in plain English.. that about it.
Your video on the other hand is like " Here is a elephant and see there is the moon which one is bigger?... obliviously I believe the elephant is bigger in size"... sort of comment. If you can prove him wrong.. you can prove that all the technical analysis taught in treading is crap.. you are on a path to a Nobel price... !!

Rayner is NOT a fraud. He simply teaches technical analysis for FREE for others to use and always with caution that there is no exact formula for all. He is books are about increasing the probability of winning. Its up to you to buy or not. What fraud are you exactly talking about.

How’s it a scam if the content is free? I get people that charge are mad at him for offering info for free then why pay for it? It’s like if a hospital opened up in a city and offered all services for free, the other hospitals would do everything in their power to say, they are a fraud, and talk all the shit they possibly can. Also you can take Rayner’s content to a paper trading account and test it, so again how is this a scam.

You never really explained though why it is such a red flag? You took an example about how YouTubers tell their
subscribers about purchasing a stock to sell the shares for profit, but after you said that you stated that you
don't think that this is what's going on with Rayner Teo.

I just think that you never explain why he's such as a scam, instead of just claim that he's a sammer,
you can also explain why.

I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just not convinced that he's a scammer. Not saying that he isn't a scammer,
I'm just saying that there isn't enough evidence to prove that.

The only evidence you had was pretty much one website and things you thought about him.

I think his free material out there is very sound and it's definitely applicable in the real world. However, the only question mark of course is how he sells his courses. That I don't know so I can't judge based on that. By the way, I don't believe Forex is a scam... it's how we work with market conditions. Yes statistics don't lie but they don't tell you the full story. So I think it is incredibly unwise to dismiss the lower percentile areas of the game. That's a very dangerous and naive judgement to make, in my opinion. I just don't think it's helpful to think this way. There's more to life than what we think in general, so I don't understand any form of rigidity in findings (I mean I do get it because it's convenient to filter things, but the fallacy is that it leaves an incomplete analysis or one that is sufficient enough to be helpful and encouraging). I also sense some psychological projection with your viewpoint. Of course, each to their own. It's just that, for most of it, I cannot disagree more.

From what I have seen, Rayner does not offer stock alert services so you are wrong on that front. In fact, your justification is pretty baseless, which makes me question your agenda. Looks more like an attempt at character assassination to be honest. I am in the fairly early days of learning to trade and I have been digesting Rayner's videos and find them valuable concepts which help me to increase my overall knowledge prior to actually investing real $. Your poorly constructed and delivered video looks more like a scam to me than anything Rayner has produced.

Beside of saying that Rayner Teo is a scam, would you share some clear evidences for this claim ? This guy has more than 1.5M subscribers on his channel and TA is something that is indeed necessary to understand how to trade. I am a beginner and im not so sure how to see those red flags... any advise ? :)
