For the longest time I couldn't figure out how to get the very first part of the cornrow to look good, and through your tutorial I just realized that it is because I wasn't crossing UNDER the middle strand in the beginning! I was crossing the first and second strand (the one on the left and right). I just tried it your way and voila, I got it!

About to turn 25 and I have yet to perfect the technique to get a tight and even cornrow. WHEN I TELL YOU within the first 3 minutes of seeing your hair placement technique I got it! I don’t know why people find it weird that I can cornrow my own hair but I can’t cornrow on people’s hair. I started braiding my hair when I was 8 and I have been doing it ever since but I’ve never laid a finger on someone’s head.
