No matter where you are, chances are today you're on video.
This guy makes the MOST of that.

As a former engineer, it would shake me to my soul when a person was acting erratically around the train I was operating. It could be fooling around, or someone with a challenging personality disorder. None of us want to have to stop the train to wait for the police and EMT to show up to deal with the aftermath of what happens.

"ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, DING, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, DING, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, DING, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, DING. Salami, Salami... Salami, Salami. Don't make me outrage, I don't want a train. Salami, Salami... salami, salami, give me a train. Do you hear that? Here it comes, heritage unit I bet you any money it's the Haha

That just made my day too! I'm sure he was just doing it to be funny, and it sure was! Haha

By far one of the greatest moments in the history of this railcam that started it all for Railstream.

I once saw one more "ultimate" than that. A number of us were waiting at Orcutt Road in San Luis Obispo, CA for the Southern Pacific 4449 engine to come into town northbound. They had a diesel engine IN FRONT of the steam engine. A fanatically foamer had a total conniption fit. He was jumping up and down waving his arms and screaming at the top of his lungs, "THEY RUINED IT !!!! WHY DID THEY DO THAT !!! THEY RUINED IT !!!!"

He's playing the town fool for the camera.
Because he knows there is a webcam."I'll get on Virtual Railfan and YouTube!"

He must be Polish! He kept yelling for salami. As a person of Polish descent, I approve! Salami is good!

I don't really understand the rail fans who chase a completely ordinary train, but I always get happy when I see a video like this.
And I have no idea why.
Maybe I'm a railfan myself, I'm just not out of the closet yet. 😂
