INDEX.01 - SALOMON'S RECYCLABLE RUNNING SHOE | INSIDE SALOMON

After working on the concept of a recyclable shoe for the last three years, that could be recycled and used to create a ski boot. Salomon is proud to reveal the release of Index.01.
Index.01 is a fully recyclable, performance running shoe that finally lets you train at the same level as your values. Once a pair of Index.01s come to the end of its lifecycle, the shoes can be returned to Salomon free of charge, disassembled and recycled, and used to create the next generation of Salomon ski boots. A process and a concept that matches Salomon's passion for the outdoors and commitment to the environment as part of our Play Minded program.
The Salomon Index.01 will be available in Spring 2021.

That is a start and good idea, but now we are still supporting shipping and fuel pollution, but defiantly worth something to support to further progress

This really should be the approach for all items made by any company. Consider the entire life cycle of the product and put in place systems to deal with shoes, cups, bottles etc once they have been used. This is a good move Salomon!

Ive had a chance to see this shoe in flesh. Guys... this shoe is amazing. It's something different from Salomon. Love this shoe and the idea behind it. +1 for the TR version comment.
