This is is not helpful. You can't even read what he is doing on the phone. The only way I can set it up is if I give my credit card. It's supposed to be free. I called and they were too busy to answer the first time. Then I sent an email and didn't get a reply. Then I called again and someone did answer. I heard a roaster growing in the background lol. They stated to watch the you tube video to learn. I said I have a question and they hung up on me. I want a return at this point.

Damn !! Looks like this camera isn't designed for remote usage . If I'm at work I can't connect to watch what my dogs are doing at home . If I knew that, I would have purchased something else . It only works when I'm on my home network, which means I can watch them in person -LOL, , , , otherwise its a connection with no internet . What good is this camera !!!

Thanks for video - but... I can only view my minicam through my mobile - for security monitoring it does not otherwise record on memory card. Is there an app setting I should be using to enable this?

Well it helped alot. But question is if I put sd card inside, it would save the pictures when I am away from home. For exemple I am at work but when I open app I check the sd card information in app would I see pictures in there?
