t i m e l e s s n e s s is a video art project where musicians are invited to improvise or compose music directly to uncut visual sequences by Thomas Radlwimmer.

The idea slumbered for several years. Through the time there were many ideas of how to start this project – the core thought always to give both music and images space to unfold together, not fighting for attention but growing together.

The approach is a very meditative one. Already at the capturing: the camera is placed for hours, up to days on the same location.
After another many days of intense computer processing the images are ready to inspire musicians – they can directly react to the images while playing live to it, or watch the video and bring ideas to sound later.
