When I hit clock after setting the time, it goes back to 00:00. Someone on FixYa suggested hitting START after setting the time. That worked.😊 So its: hit Clock, choose between hr 12, hr 24, then your time, then hit Start, as an alternative way to set it.

The fact that people have to look this up online should tell this company something. I was intuitively doing everything you pointed out here EXCEPT I wasn’t pressing START after entering the time. That last step is NOT very intuitive.

Apparently sometime during the night we lost power and normally I can set the clock without an issue but today for some reason I couldn't and I couldn't find my manual. No, it’s not ‘military time’. It’s simply the ‘24 hour clock’, used by myriad agencies and organizations for greater precision, especially when expressing time verbally (including over a radio net).

On mine you have to hit clock, choose 12 or 24 then enter time and push the start button. Hitting clock again screws everything up.

On my Hamilton Beach microwave After you just decide on the rest of the world 24 hour system or a few other countries 12 hour system then you put in the hour and minutes and push start.
