little tip from a norwegian equestrian here for winter when it does snow and get icy is to get shoes with ice studs :) if it doesnt snow often enough that it's beneficial to have ice studs all the time, you can ask your farrier for shoes with stud holes and you can get ice studs online that you can put in yourself just like you would with grass studs for cross country :)) this is what we do, since we have snow and ice from october/november, and it makes sure that the horses can safely be outside for as long as possible :)

Just when I see Duke running about it reminds me off my wee Peter rabbit at my old yard the had loads of foals or yearlings and I taught him soo much he was sold around five years ago when I was nine I was so upset at the time I still I am remember when they told me I went in cried in my instructors horse I cried for a couple of hours but I know he is ina good home but I misss himm so much and it feels like a lost a part off my heart ❤️❤️ love the video Esme you are the best❤
