Many people think, that Status Quo aren't that talented 'cause their songs are quite simple ("three chord songs"), but Rick was one of the best Rhythm Guitar Players of the country (Great Britain). Hi Rick,   With diminished chords the chord can be any one of the 4 notes played as I'm sure you know but to find the one in the key being played is to find the one with the key note in 1st position   It doesn't matter really as you guys have made great sounds and entertained the masses for so many years   Regards Phil Cose ( Formerly of Oxford)
