The Mighton Bi-Fold System is a combination of style and function. The incredible build quality not only gives peace of mind, but it looks great too. Mighton products have always been the first choice for window hardware and now we've added the easy to fit, easy to adjust, high quality Mighton Bi-Folding door system to our range available in two versions. Our standard system is the most popular one, for openings of up to 16 meters wide, three meters high. It suits configurations of up to 16 doors and panel widths up to 1 meter, weighing up to 60 kilograms each. Our heavy duty system is ideal for larger doors, up to 3.9 meters high and up to 90 kilogram panel weight. Call us and we will calculate your requirements. The compact top-track needs less timber removal, giving stronger frame head sections. Flush boards are installed fast thanks to the one pass router cutter. These are fitted to every other door and the standard recommendation is, locking bolts at the top and non-locking at the bottom.

Our pivot sets are designed to lift the doors directly from the seals to eliminate any gouging or wearing of the seals. Adjustment is quick and simple. Ensure the jam leaf is plumbed before mounting other leaves. Using the tool supplied with every kit, this couldn't be easier. Adjusting the heights of the doors is very straight forward, simply pull down the sprung locking loaded collar on the shaft of the carrier units and adjust the height using the tool provided.

Once adjusted, release the collar and this will click back into position, auto-locking the door at the set height. The carrier units are at the hearts of the system, their compact wheels and precision bearings are profiled to fit the track perfectly. The smooth silent action is one of the hallmarks of the Mighton system. Two lengths of panel to panel seal are grooved into every hinge edge, and a frame seal runs around the rebar perimeter. Hinges, guides, and carrier units can be placed correctly, very quickly using the optimal hinge jig. When using the hinge jig, the hardware is placed in its optimum position, ensuring minimal adjustment is required. And the stunning designer hinge handle is a pleasure to use.

The system is currently available in satin stainless steel, polish stainless steel, and PVD polished brass, with more standard finishes to be introduced soon.
