I would take him at United, this is not bad business if we get him at £25m and he will improve squad depth. Good ball retention and a good range of forward passing something we lack in the McFred partnership. McWin partnership could the key against the low block.

Fantastic midfielder, quick, great positioning, Xabi Alonso range, always coordinated, great decision making, and extremely elegant and natural on the ball. His touch is class, so no wonder this comment section is full of critics, English fans don't understand what should be appreciated in the game.

It's a weird one tbh. He was an English international and was starting for them last year and it all went downhill since. I have a feeling it's down to Mourinho having favourites in his midfield and Winks isn't a tall robust midfielder. £25 million for Winks could be a bargain considering he would have been valued at around £50 million about 2 years ago.

If 25 is the price, I'd say United may as well get him. Doesn't look like a top CDM will be brought in this summer. If that's the case and they find themselves having to play the double pivot again, at least Winks gives you cleaner passes than Fred and Scott do.
