He's so down to earth, it's amazing. Paddy revealing that he would rather be punched in the face than get a scrape on his body because "it sticks to the bed at night" is something ud never hear from most fighters. While most of us couldn't even take a punch to the face, it's hilariously relatable.

He has the fighting skill/dedication and heart, to become a champion. But more importantly, he has that "superstar" quality to him where his personality is really infectious, and he's exciting to watch. But what makes Paddy REALLY stand out from the last decade of UFC stars (like Conor McGregor), is that he ACTUALLY feels like a "fighter of the people".

Paddy isn't ashamed to gain weight, and eat like the rest of us. He isn't ashamed to speak out about personal issues, and heavy things going on in his life. There are a lot of men who are struggling with depression right now or know someone who has taken their life. The fact that he was open about the situation during a PPV, and showed his full emotions - really allowed other people to feel like they aren't alone in what they are dealing with.

I know I'm gushing, but I genuinely think Paddy is a great guy - and could be the next big thing. As long as he keeps winning and getting better, he has a quality to him that could really make him connect to many viewers.

The thing with paddy is ppl probs expected him to come on this and drop 20 bags n that’s not him hahahah he isn’t arsed! He’s a good local lad from my ways and can tell u now he’s so down to earth! 1 of the most genuine ppl u will meet! He isn’t a ppl pleaser but does please his misses n family a lot tho!
