Ep.59 We sail to Skiathos - Carl and Jenny

In this episode we sail to Skiathos. We have to anchor in a small bay outside the main town quay as it was full with local day charter boats so a 1 mile dinghy trip was required each time. We give you a short tour around the town centre and town quay before being rescued after we run aground in the dinghy and damage the prop! We've changed our colour grading and improved the quality of our voice overs so hopefully you will notice and like the change. Let us know in the comments below.

Although we damaged our prop, it was just the sacrificial pin that snapped. 10 minutes after we got back to the boat it was fixed. Make sure you've got spare pins!

Depending when you filmed this. It does get very busy there . At 4:13 you see the aircraft coming in. Very noisy in peak season. You filmed away from that area as the planes come in right over and up the valley very low. You can go almost to the end of the runway and get blasted. When I was there you get large ferries come in . See one lift up many anchors with plenty of shouting from yachts. Gets very busy with tourists.
