Italy's Draghi says EU can count on US support, he and Biden will discuss Ukraine conflict, energy

Welcoming Draghi to the White House, Biden called him "one of the closest allies we've had in responding to this seamless brutality of Putin," and said the cooperation between U.S. and Italy "has been really incredible."

Draghi followed, saying, "If Putin ever thought that he could divide us, he failed. There's no question about that. We we stand together in condemning the invasion of Ukraine, sanctioning Russia."

You want peace president Draghi then persuade old JOE and the EU countries not to send weapons to Ukraine and the crisis wil deesculate immediately. Give Russia it's security status requirements over Ukraine and let's get back to business. If this is done correctly the USA might get assistance from Putin's Russia to avoid Hyperinflation, as it already does from recieving oil etc despite the sanctions and slanderous accusations.

I did not hear Draghi say anything remotely close to what the caption read. The sanctions have been a double edged sword on Europe. Indeed, his comment that the EU member nations having become more tightly knit by the war in Ukraine can be interpreted as meaning the EU is moving towards greater independence from American foreign policy dominance. The Minsk Accord was an EU initiative until the US and NATO scuppered the agreement and provoked the War with Russia.
