You have to wait a couple of months to see results as collagen takes time to build. I had 3 sessions of this procedure done 4 years ago and loved it. in fact, I'm getting another one next week

Thank you. You saved me from trying this one month before my marriage. I tried Fraxel, TCA cross. None of that worked for acne scars. Instead made things worse for me by giving so much dryness and long lasting pigments for multiple months. I was really wishing if this could work but not worth a try for me. Only thing worked for my pigments, pimples and acne scars was using gel based tretinoin cream with gel-based moisturizer every night.

I saw a real difference with micro needling after 6 months of the procedure. You won’t notice a difference in the first few weeks but it works long term.

As a former esthetician I understand why people want to try these types of skin enhancements however in my experience and research I feel good old fashion chemical peel offer greater results with all the negative effects of treatments like mirconeedeling.
I have been doing peels on myself for over 25 years and I will continue to go down this road. I completely reversed my own melasma with chemical peels and sunscreen.

I've gotten RF alone and microneedling alone. I get a tad red and have a few fleck of skin come off around the temple area but nothing like this. I don't look like I got anything done by day 3. Day 1 my skin is tight. I spray my face several times with rose toner that is literally deionized water and rose oils, Lavendar oils, NO irritating ingredients. I will only apply hyaluronic acid and my multipeptide serum. No retinols, vit C, or anything else, period. I find this protocol makes me heal super fast and I feel great. I get my microneedling done at a 1.5-2mm which is very uncomfortable. So it's interesting to see how you heal in comparison. Some people just have a slower wound heal response and that can cause those grid marks. Sadly some people need a laser treatment after to remove them due to such slow wound heal response. As for results: I saw a huge improvement in neck elasticity. I was doing images and video pinch tests. So I can say it did improve my skin and took about 3 months, with two treatments, to see this huge improvement. It can take up to 6 months to see full results because your cells are producing collagen and elastin due to the wounding. These micro wounds require time to heal and your cells will 'think' or 'act' like younger skin. You will bank collagen this way. So getting one treatment done won't do anything really. Most people who are getting this done are likely doing so when they are moderate laxity and skin texture, or have amazing skin and doing this as a preventative. My provider sees this a lot. I have a specific area-my jowl neck area-that bothers me. But my skin is flawless. So I do not see improvements to texture bc I have clear skin. I may see improvements to a few age spots that were already faded due to my skincare regime. In general my skin does not behave like a 38 year old. It behaves like a 24 year old. But I have banked collagen since I was 25. I do have 'tech neck' so that's why I saw and see such an improvement there with laxity. The muscles are antagonistic and protagonist. So all this downward screen time really does a number on weakening our neck and therefore causing premature laxiety and lines. I'm reversing that by doing RF microneedling.

As for fat melting. These devices are not meant to melt fat. This particular one does not get to such a high temp. But that does not mean the provider can't over do it on an area and just be entirely unskilled with the device and melt your fat. Any RF device has that potential. It's important you express what you want exactly from the treatment and tell them flat out you do not want facial melting and ask how many patients they see who want a lifted youthful look without facial loss. If they do not respond right away, there's some eye aversion, maybe an incomplete response, RUN. They are a newb. Honestly only go for a NP with specific training using the device, or a cosmetic derm MD who's also professionally trained and done fellows. Look into their credentials in other words. Do not just go to anyone. It should cost you $400 give or take depending on your area for ONE TREATMENT. Thermage is specifically RF and made for improving only skin tightening and texture. Not pore size, and texture like RF microneedling does in addition to the collagen boosting. It's more mild than Thermage. Thermage is good for up to moderate laxity. Laxity is often due to collagen loss but can be due to fat weight loss and other reasons. Thermage is the big BAM you want to be very caution about getting done from an unskilled provider. Any fat loss from a RF microneedling would be very minimal if you got it done from a newb. But if you get RF done with THermage--which goes to a hotter temp--you could melt your cheeks right off. So really investigate your providers. Do not pay less than $1500 for the treatment. I'm serious. If they charge under $500--question why. IT SHOULD BE EXPENSIVE! The machines are expensive and their time for proper training is expensive. Ask for the model and do your research on the provider. Do not be afraid to NEVER get RF done. Just do your research.

Some comments are spot on… you won’t see anything for about 3 months
My experience with microneedling it did nothing for my skin even after months went by… it actually made my skin worse! I regret doing it and will never do it again!

I thought you wouldn't see microneedling results until maybe 4-6months later?

As a skin care beauty specialist in istanbul This type treats people who have problems with acne scars or who have deep problems in the skin and people who have deep wrinkles over 45 (not lines), but in other cases collagen can be enhanced in ways that are softer on the skin, such as peeling through the use of carbon laser, also continuing every two months cleaning your skin with medical hydrafacial and continue to use sunscreen and moisturizing according to each skin 😁🤍

How long did it take for your neck to heal? I had normal microneedling done on the neck for the first time and it's very irritated

I thought after 6 weeks results are truer. My friend was put on a regimen prior to the treatment and her skin looks amazing

I heard you mentioned that they treated under your eyes with the rf? Did you see any worsening of your eye area from this? Or only improvements around the eyes?

I did a Halo and it took 10 days for the peeling. My girl said she wants me to do RF microneedling since Halo didnt tighten my skin at all. Do you feel like you saw a noticeable lifting effect looking back? I know this is a year old video but I am curious if the results are long term for you. I didn’t think Halo was too painful (like a 2/10) so I am not too worried about RF.

Rf microneedling is NOT a laser treatment...you keep referring to lasers and it gets confusing. It also takes about 3 months to see results.

Just had it done yesterday but is it normal to have all the waffle looking marks on my skin? Especially my forehead and temples? I’m kinda worried!
