This is a taste test/review of the Nestle Toll Bite-Size Filled Baking Truffles in three flavors including Frosted Cinnamon Rolls, Chocolate Lava Cake and Chocolate Caramel Dulce De Leche. They were bought at Kroger and Walmart.

I use baking bits like mini mms on my yoghurt parfaits to get a sugar hit without overdoing the calores .I was disappointed that the lava didn't have that oozy center but they look scrumptious !

Oh… how neat! You could make a Monster Cookie recipe using these truffles - especially if you combine all three! Can you imagine? One giant Monster Cookie with three distinct truffle flavors?!

These were a lot smaller than I was expecting, mix in size for ice creams. I thought this would be the size of a regular chocolate, from a box of chocolates. I was thinking one of those chocolates in the centre of a ball of cookie dough, then baked would be good. Thanks for the review.

They had these out for a while… they had a pumpkin spice one last year… I ate them like candy too… I snack on “baking” chocolate often… I prefer a less sweet, darker chocolate and they go on sale and have some higher quality chips…

ok so I clicked on this video to see how the cookies would look when they came out of the oven baked. Well they weren't baking cookies they were taste testing and once they ripped open the bag to try the Carmel dulce lech I knew it was over.

Honestly, snacking on these never crossed my mind! The old version of these had very runny/liquidy centers and were easy to smash. You'd have to either carefully fold them or press them into the cookies before they bake. I'm sure these are more sturdy with the firmer centers. I can see my mom being tantalized by the cinnamon roll ones. I'll have to buy those when they eventually go on sale and incorporate them into a cinnamon-y cookie.
