That's not a square print around the bottom holes...you simply never removed the protective film from the bottom of the phone.

I have a real one and it has that seal you said the fake one has, is it possible you swapped the boxes?
4:46 this "square print" is actually a protective foil you can peel off.
You can try to push into the "camera glass" on the fake one, it should be possible to bend it it, which is not possible on the real one.

was looking for a s23 ultra on facebook marketplace recently and i noticed the abundance of fakes on there, i noticed the thing with the top and bottom seals and the lack of info on the back of the box, as well as i've seen at least one that was shrinkwrapped, something else i've noticed on the fakes is on the bottom of the fake box they'll have the wording "ROM" to denote the storage size, whereas the real one does not use that word, and the fakes will also have "made in vietnam" printed on them, i have a real galaxy a52 5g that is made in vietnam so i guess some are/were made there but as far as i know their flagships should all be made in korea.

seeing as they didn't seem to try too hard with the fit and finish of the os i'd assume there isn't a dialer code for the samsung diagnostic menu, all samsungs have a dial code *#0*# which opens a diagnostic menu so you can test individiual features.

i ended up buying one off swappa, since i wanted a 1tb model

one major difference is how you cold-boot your phone. Completely shut down then boot it up again. On the fake phone, some Chinese logo will pop up. On the real one, you'd get Samsung logo.

The bottom of the real s 23 has a plastic protector you can peel it off when the phone is new it comes all around the phone I actually bought mine last week beautiful phone 😅
