I broke my femur in a car crash part 4

I’m so sorry that happened… glad your ok now! My dad was recently in a car accident (well I say recently but it was in January it feels like it just happened tho) anyway he snapped his femur in half, shattered the bone on the bottom of his foot, broke his ankle, suffered some pretty bad brain damage, and punctured his organs and had lots of internal bleeding. He has made almost a full recovery which I am so happy about and just needs some physical therapy to work on his limp. He had around 5 or 6 surgeries 2 of them saved his life. He was in a medical coma (it’s like a normal coma but the doctors gave him the coma with medicine because he would be in too much pain and would be too hard for them to figure out what was wrong and he couldn’t breath on his own) for like almost a month and had to have a breathing tube down his throat. 7 months before that my mom was in another really bad car wreck she broke her back in 3 places, broke her tibia platue (or something like that), also suffered really bad head trauma(which still affects her today), messed something up neurologically, and hurt her hip. So right after she recovered my dad got hurt. I’m so glad both of them are ok but it was terrifying to watch my parents go through that much pain. Luckily my mom realized some things and stopped being an alcoholic she has been sober ever since her accident and my dad isn’t drinking as much. Both of their accidents were the other person’s fault my dad was hit at 70-80mph by a drunk driver at three in the morn on the way back from work and my mom was hit out of nowhere by this random guy and was rammed into a concrete wall on the way back from getting food at like 10pm. Unfortunately the drunk driver passed away rip. So this vid on my fyp just made me think of this and I wanted to share my (well technically my parents) story. I broke my femur too when I was 9 years old in a football match I didn't feel anything I was thinking my leg was broke in 2 pieces and then I had 3 operations
