In responds to Attorney Todd Perkins, allocating increased funds to DET residents is fine but calling it Reparations is a gross negligence & misrepresenting what Reparations can be defined as, as Reparations can only be applied if its from the federal Gov't not the state or city.

Go after corporations that are still around yet benefited from enslaved labor or supported the rebels.

Like the insurance companies that gave policies to slave holders. JP Morgan who held accounts for slave owners and accepted slaves as collateral on loans. and made profits from interest on those loans. Or Norfolk Southern, CN and CSX who used slave labor to build rail lines and run the railway.

Go after the companies that claimed tax losses when their slaves were freed.

Brooks Brothers—sold slave clothing to slave masters.
