She is so damn underrated in this film. The song is lowered, yes, but she sells the emotion of it in such a way that only Nicole Kidman can.

Watched this movie after broke up with my ex years ago. This scene and song make my tears stream so badly.
And this time I also realize that Nicole is kind of adorable, magnificent, and I don't know....just like queen. So beautiful in this movie.

Nicole Kidman has an aura of a modern day Marilyn Monroe. It may sound funny but the problem with Marilyn Monroe was NOT her inability to act, quite the contrary, according to The GREAT : LEE STRASBERG, after Marlon Brando, as his student Marilyn Monroe stood above all the rest. Nicole Kidman as an actress is superb. She IS like Marilyn Monroe without the problems of "Typecasting". Unlike Marilyn, she has been able to fully realize her talent but she owes a whole lot to Ms Marilyn Monroe.
