Having being a real estate man for 10+years I know it hurts a lot having to sell a property you've put love, sweat and tears improving and upgrading to a high level..
So, I wish you somehow get across the asking price money through a twist of luck keeping the house so you can visit even in short periods of time in future airbnbing it on the rest of the time.
