I do think Alison is one of the greats. She's one of the best voices we have. Yazoo recorded some incredible songs and so has Alison in her solo career 😍

At 2:00 Alison looks right at the camera and all the hairs on my arms stand up. After 40 years I still wish they'd made more than two albums. So much soul.

Upstairs at Erics is my FAVOURITE album of all time I only with Allison and Vince had made more albums - such a shame. THEY ARE A POWERFUL duo.👍👏👏👏👏👏

I'm an acoustic blues-playing acoustic singer/songwriter. Why am I here! Well, because Vince Clarke was an electronic musical genius, and Alison Moyet was an incredible singer-personality. Together, they created a distinct genre. Love them both...xxx And their appearance together, beautiful.

I recall going to the high school back in 1990 in my 1967 camaro....and suddenly this song came up on the radio.... I was automacally in love with that haunting voice.... then the song ended and I never knew who sang it... until many years later

So funny to realize that Vince has been a founding member and songwriter in three of the most influential synthesizer bands of all time...
Mode, Yazz, and Erasure. Hits galore with all three. Time for a Vince Clarke tribute album.

These 2 artists made such amazing music together, just a pity it was such a short lived partnership. Both are a quality act.
