Like anything you have to research and know when you come across a quality piece. I've been thrifting for at least 20 years and I start to notice everybody else doing it. Patience is the No 1 thing . I've been to this one goodwill a few times with no pickups, and on the 7th trip found a brand new with tags black Burberry polo which when I checked the retail was 600 bucks. To all you collectors out there don't let these sellers trick you into staying away from thrifting. Be patient, put in the time and you'll be good

Screen printed shirts have never been cool. They've always been ugly and stupid, and take away your identity as an individual. I guess if people want to make other people think of bands and brands when they see, you, that's great. But as a picker who deals with functional items, that are designed and engineered by geniuses, and serve a practical purpose, require skill, knowledge to prepare for sale, I totally resent the shirt market. Last thing I want to do is dig through clothes looking for "fire" because some asshats think screen printed shirts are worth hundreds or even thousands of dollars. There's no logic to it. Of course, since there's a market, I basically feel that I have to. It's like video game collectors. Putting value on things that really should not be valuable. There's a reason reproductions are worthless. The answer is because screen printed shirts are ugly and stupid. Nobody cares if you're wearing an old stretched out shirt or a new one. You look just as dumb. Looking dumb should cost $40 tops.
