Показать описание
Custom-built all-in-one system combining a 9" Sony Trinitron PVM-9042QM monitor with an original Japanese Famicom console. The two original controllers are modified for wireless operation and are kept stored inside the unit when not in use. On top of the system, there's also an additional storage for 8 Famicom cartridges.

What a wonderful design. extreme cool artwork!

This is absolutely wonderful. I don't think I'd bother with the controller cover though, just have them pop in and out is a pretty funky enough design that I don't think needs hiding.

Cool build. Is there an concern of overheating the monitor. What about airflow to the back of the PVM for cooling purposes?

This is pretty amazing.
Though I'm surprised you didn't RGB mod the Famicom.

If you were to make another one of these amazing things, and sell it, how much would it cost?

Do you not sell the enclosures as bare "kits" for people with their own PVM and NES/SNES? I'd love to build one of these, but I only need the enclosure...

How do the controllers work? I assumed they would just be the Famicom joycons, but I don't see any railings on them...

Are they modified circuit boards from the NES wireless controller converter kit? Does the mic on the P2 controller work?

Did you use the 8bitdo wireless NES boards for those Famicom controllers? I'm intersted in that part cause I wanted to do wireless famicom controllers just for my standard Famicom.

Incredible project btw. I've actually wanted to custom make my own case for a crt, this is such a huge inspiration. Any other content you could give us as far as the creation of this thing would be amazing.

And lastly, aren't original Famicom aesthetics just amazing? Isn't it just the best looking console ever, with the best looking rainbow game carts?? It looks like its from 50s America, which in terms of design was a great era. It like it would fit perfectly with some mid century modern furniture.

I think it would be better without that detachable lid. The controllers just sticking out a little, it could be used as part of the aesthetic. Besides, the lid is prone to get lost or damaged and soiled from handling. Just my opinion. You are a genius.

Silent Hill ambiance music! :) 8bitdo DIY fitted to a Famicom controller shell? I did that on my Famicom, works great. Anyway, cool project.

The point of using a CRT is no lag, but then you used wireless controllers, which adds lag.

Now that is cool. If they actually sell this thing then I think they'll make quite a few squid from it.

Holy shit love! This is a master piece. And the click when mounting the controllers sound so satisfying.
How many times have you attached/detached the controllers? It must be close to a million
