After the success of its first handheld, Asus has officially revealed its successor, the Asus ROG Ally X. After getting hands-on with the device at Computex, we think it could be even better than the original.

The Asus ROG Ally X has finally been unveiled at Computex 2024 and with Mirror Gaming here on the ground at the computer expo, we've been able to get hands-on with the brand-new handheld to see if the changes make it worth picking up. The Asus ROG Ally X reveal stream showcased the new and improved all-in-one gaming handheld, which features a bigger battery, larger SSD and black chassis among a range of other differences to improve the device.

Ambient noise is drowning the fan out. You can tell it's loud in that location. Just pull your phone out and do a dB sound level test in the room with an app. Be amazed at the loudness.

Best? That's very subjective and a sensationalist title. Their warranty policies are garbage. Even though they say they're going to do better, it still remains to be seen.

It isn’t a true hands-on experience until I get my hands on it and show what it can do. And that’s not really a whole lot. Extra RAM is helpful; nevertheless, it still isn't as powerful as it could be. And Jesus, it looks like it’s still filled with bloat. Half of you need an FAQ on how to remove it and make your system run better.
